Through its leading websites and mobile apps, Despegar offers a wide assortment of travel services from over 230 airlines, 660,000 accommodation options, 1,260 car rental agencies, and 800 destination services providers offering more than 7,700 leisure activities throughout Latin America.

Their online travel service operates under 5 popular brands: Despegar, Decolar, BestDay, Viajes Falabella and Viajanet operating across 20 countries. The B2B travel service operates under their brand HotelDo which provides offline and online travel agencies the inventory.

Minimum requirements to connect

  • PMS: Despegar accepts only property managers using a PMS

  • Accepted location: Argentina, Aruba, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Curacao, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Mexico, Panama, Peru, Uruguay

  • Property name must contain at least 1 letter

  • Maximum number of guests is provided

  • Amenities:

    • At least 1 property-level amenity e.g. Private pool, Towels, Bed linen, Kitchenette, Garden, Breakfast

    • At least 1 listing-level amenity e.g. Private pool, Towels, Bed linen, Internet connection, Air-conditioning, Smoke detectors, Smart TV

  • Address (Country, City, Street name and number, Post code) is provided

  • Geo-coordinates need to be set

  • Description is provided in one of the supported languages (English, Spanish or Portuguese)

  • Photos: at least 5 photos are uploaded (minimum width: 400px; minimum height: 400px), main picture is selected

  • Bedding composition: the number of sleeping places in beds is the same or greater than the value set in Maximum number of guests

  • Arrival information must be provided:

    • Who to contact before arrival

    • Phone

    • Email

The property manager can select the option to receive the payment in two ways. This is selected when connecting to Despegar for the first time (here)

  • Virtual card - available only for Brazil, Mexico, Colombia and Dominican Republic; the VCC details become available after the check-in date

  • Bank transfer - the payout is made once a month after the check-out
